    Most people meet the prophetic through one gift and assume that's the whole thing.     Hearing God is one thing. Knowing what to do with what you heard is another, and that's where most of us get stuck. Not every word is meant to be said out loud. Some belong in prayer, and some are meant to grow your own walk before they're ever for anyone else. The prophetic carries specific functions, and maturity is mostly about knowing which one you're holding and how to handle it.

    In this session:

    • Explore the inward functions, where God speaks to you about you to build relationship and correct how you see Him, yourself, and the world

    • Walk through the outward functions: encouragement and comfort, prophetic intercession, calling and impartation, and direction

    • Know when to speak a word, when to pray it, and when to keep it, using simple questions like what it will cost the person and whether they're ready to hear it

    • Deliver a word in your own normal voice, without performance and without claiming "thus saith the Lord" in a way that misuses God's name

    • Bring correction the way Heaven does, always leaving a clear path back, so you build someone up instead of crushing them

    You'll know what to do with what you hear, and how to share it without leaving a mess behind.

  • July 30 | 1 PM CDT

    God speaks in more ways than most of us were taught to notice, and not everything that feels spiritual carries the same weight. A passing impression is not a Throne Room encounter, and treating them as equals is how sincere people overreach and wound others in God's name. The ancients tested what they received before acting on it, and you can learn the same discernment.

    In this session:

    • Recognize the many ways God speaks, and tell the real thing from your own soul or the enemy's accusation

    • Use the safety framework that keeps you grounded: what's clearly biblical and safe, what's extra-biblical and needs care, and what's anti-biblical and should never be trusted

    • Apply the conviction-versus-condemnation test, since God's correction is specific and carries hope, while condemnation is vague and leaves you hopeless

    • Respond to a word the right way depending on whether it speaks to your identity, calls for correction, gives direction, or points to destiny

    • Spot when someone is reading your soul instead of hearing from God, and follow the road that builds lasting authority: credibility, then character, then favor, then authority

Meet John E. Thomas

John has been in ministry since 2004, and he has led Streams Ministries, the work John Paul Jackson founded, since 2016. He isn't teaching theory. What you'll hear over these three days is the framework that kept him steady while gifted people around him crashed and burned.
