Prophetic people receive in different ways. Some are hearers, some knowers, some feelers, some discerners, some speakers, and some are seers. All seers are prophets, though not every prophet is a seer, and learning how you are wired changes how you steward what God gives you.
In this session:
Discover the different ways prophetic people receive, and recognize which one is most natural to you
Learn the kinds of seeing, from visitations and open visions to seeing with the eyes of your heart, and why something metaphorical is no less important than something literal
Position yourself to see, the way Habakkuk took his stand at his watchpost and looked out to see what God would say
Ask God to cleanse your spiritual eyes, and deal with any place you decided you did not want to see
Learn to tell sanctified imagination from real revelation, testing it by godly fruit, by confirmation from other sources, and by whether it takes on a life of its own beyond your soul
You'll leave knowing how you see, and how to grow in it without deceiving yourself.

Different dreams call for completely different responses, which is why so many go unread or get acted on wrongly. Then there is the angelic, a subject the Bible raises 282 times, and one most believers avoid because the confusion around it feels risky. Both deserve better than guesswork.

Learn the categories of dreams, drawn from John Paul Jackson's teaching, including the ones the enemy causes, the ones we cause ourselves, and the ones God gives
Find out why most dreams people have are self-condition dreams, showing you where you actually are, and how to respond whether that is correction or encouragement

Meet John E. Thomas
John has been on staff with or working alongside Streams Ministries since 2004, personally mentored by John Paul Jackson, who founded it. He pastored The Bridge Metrowest, a church John Paul planted, for five years before he and his wife Dawna moved into full-time itinerant ministry. After John Paul went home to be with the Lord, John began working more closely with the Streams leadership team, and in 2016 he was asked to lead the ministry.
He wrote Dream Elements: An Alternative Dream Dictionary and Discerning & Responding to Prophecies, and co-authored The Art of Praying the Scriptures with John Paul. He has also written courses on prophetic ministry, dream interpretation, and the Kingdom of God, and this teaching comes straight out of that work.
